That’s why I have a different substance to replace the helium. Can’t tell you what I call it, but a reality check produces it and now I’m safely on the ground

And surprisingly, I see more things when I’m on the ground

I’m weak! Yay!

That answers a lot of things, and also reinforces the fact that if I don’t change I’ll be weak forever”

That reminds me of one of my favourite phrase.

Shanghai in the Night

But despite the modern look of the city, some of its people still retain the traditional culture. Go to Nanjing Road early in the morning, and you can always spot the typical Tai Chi, fan dances, and sometimes, sword dances.

Long time ago, it was said that this mountain the the favourite mountain of Huang Di, the first Emperor of China. He often come here to contemplate and bathed in its hot springs. Once, when he bathed in the hot spring, he, who was 40, turn to twenty, and so, lived for a long time. It’s also said that the Emperor, being a good Emperor, ascended to heaven from the peak of Huang San. Then another Emperor, also loved this mountain, named the mountain after the first Emperor of China.

Huang san is one of the most well known mountain in China. People says that the scenery in Huang San is considered the best in China.

But I haven’t seen Emei San, Zhangjiajie, etc, so I can’t tell which one is the best.

And, Huang San is also a great place for scenic photography, and drawing practice, if you like.

Anyway, here’s some picture and a bit of stories from China.

First thing First, Food!

FOOD! GREAT FOOD! LOTS OF 'EM!

I’m not a food enthusiast, FYI, but being in China, especially in Hangzhou, located in the Eastern China, will surely turn you into a food lover. From several places I’ve visited in China (Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Huangsan, Tungxi) this place has the greatest food of all. Beware of pork and their fats! But they tasted the best anyway. Not to mention the little shrimps (the one at twelve o’clock in the picture), Hangzhou’s specialty, and the soups, and their chicken soups (oily, but tasted great nonetheless). The one in the middle is Lotus root, by the way. Sweet and a bit cold.

You will find a lot, really a lot of pork dishes in this country, so for moslems who wants to go to China, I advise you to be a bit… cautious.

By the way, the place where I had all of this food called ‘the Grandma’s’ It’s located near the west lake of Hangzhou. A small restaurant with great price and great food, and a unique concept. Where else you’ll find yourself called for dinner in a restaurant by grandma?

Anyway, Happy New Year all! 2011 was a nice year. Lot of things happen, but everything will be alright in the end. Thank you for everyone who has supported me on the previous year, and hope we all can still be good friends in this new year.

any resolution? I haven’t made any list of resolution until now, since I think I have a lot of unfinished resolutions from the previous years. Well yeah procrastination.

No, it isn’t a kind of Christmas caroling like the one western people has. The choir wasn’t children and we don’t give them candies and cookies. Instead, they’re pastors, brothers, and… what, priest to be? They told us in advance, of course. Not a surprise.

But still it felt like party. I love it! They sang O Holy Night, Silent Night, Joy to the World, When a Child is born and a lot more I can’t remember the titles. Anyway, Thank you for coming!
